Tracy Carfora
President 2007-2008

If it’s March, that
means Spring is just around the corner!!
Did you notice that
the days
are getting a
little longer, and that
it’s sunny out a bit later already? Daylight
Savings Time starts early
this year. The clocks will spring ahead that all
important 1 hour on Sunday,
March 9th.
I love this time of the year.
I look forward to Spring. It is
my favorite season.
The days get warmer,
the sun feels stronger, and
there’s a clean,
sweet fresh scent in the air. You
can also
see shoots on the trees and buds
on the flowers as they keep
moving towards their time to blossom. It’s a season
of rebirth, and all things new.
Please use
this time of rebirth & all things
new to recommit to this organization. Maybe
you’ve been away
from meetings due to other time commitments, or family.
Perhaps you
are
afraid
to get involved. At this time, I would like to ask
that you
all have some
type of personal rebirth in the NAIW organization. April is the nominations
month for our Board positions for
the 2008/2009 year. You should have received an
e-mail from the chair for this committee with information on the Board
positions. I encourage you to
seriously consider getting involved. If not on the Board,
perhaps you
are interested in a
committee position? It doesn’t even have
to be chair person, but a
member of one of the committees.
I wish you all a bright and
happy Spring!
Our next meeting is Tuesday,
3/4 at 6:00 pm at O’Connors Beef & Chowder House. The NJ State Council Director, Mary
Corvaia,
is coming to speak with us. There
is
a lot we can
learn from her about passion
and commitment to NAIW for our local organization.
Yours in Fellowship….
